Advanced features included with App purchase include Setup & Score Sharing, allowing the distribution of Tour setup information (Players, Courses, Tees, Events, Teams, etc.) and the scores posted by foursomes equipped with a compatible iOS device. From the top-level screen of the "Player" tab, touch "Import Players" and you will be presented with two choices:
1) Import directly from your Address Book on your iDevice: select any number of contacts at one time and with a single touch, they will all be added to your Player list. You must still edit each Player to assign a handicap index if used for your tournament games.
2) Import from text formatted in the CVS layout. You may either type the text directly on the import window or paste it from another app on your iDevice (such as from an email message, or from any editor on your device). CVS layout is text where each player is on a separate line, with four fields of information separated by a comma. So the correct format for tourbot4 is:
nickname, first name, last name, handicap index
For example:
bill, william, deppen, 4.5
jim, james, prete, 14.2

Any extra spaces will be eliminated for you, all names will be properly capitalized, and the handicap index data will be scanned for formatting errors.

Bugs fixes
Score Method Switching right from the Scoring screen. Now you can switch back and forth between hole-by-hole methods of detailed stroke metrics and high-speed Gross Stroke Only method, without leaving the screen! So if you are scoring the foursome in which you played and you wish to keep detailed stroke metrics results for each hole (fairway hit, left, right - sand saves, etc.), quickly switch to Detailed Scoring and then switch back to high-speed Gross Strokes Only to score everyone else! The fastest scoring system just got faster!

iPad Only:
The iPad now gets a major update on the scoring screen to add mini-scorecards for all players who are being scoring. These mini-scorecards expose all details recorded for a player to allow to see at a glance where you are at in scoring. Also, the two lists are linked so that touching a player on the original list initiates scoring and also scrolls the mini-scorecard for that player into view. Touching a player's mini-scorecard, will scroll the player listing and initiate scoring as well.

Notifications: This version of tour•botPlayer has a new feature for tournaments using "Many Sync" setup sharing. "Many Sync" makes it fast and easy for all participants to download the tournament specifics established by the tournament director directly onto their iOS device.

Then when any device completes scoring for a player, all users sharing the "Many Sync" setup will receive a notification. Also, when an upload of scores occurs, a notification will be sent.

The tournament scorekeeper can then download the posted scores and update the tournament results so that by the time the foursomes check into the club house, all scoring will be complete.

Alternate Tees: From the "More" menu revealed when swiping on a Player on the Scoring scree, you may now select "Assign Player to alternate tee". Finally, you will be able to have mixed tournaments, with as many tees as required.

Player Handicap Index Utilities: From the Tour Setup screen, touch the HCPi Utilities button to access three new options, Freeze (Lock) all tour players Handicap Index calculation, Unfreeze (Unlock) to allow the App to evolve the index per USGA rules and Player Handicap Index maintenance, which will show a new high-speed tool to quickly maintain all players' Handicap Index. It's the fastest way yet to manage large tournament populations and only tour•bot has it!

New tournament report - Eclectic Tournament
The Eclectic Tournamnet scoring report is a popular "Tournament"-type reports. An eclectic tournament is a multi-round golf tournament that results in one 18-hole score per player. Eclectic work this way: Each golfer plays X number of rounds, and for each golfer, tour•bot compares his scores on each hole per round. The lowest score made on each hole is recorded, producing an 18-hole score. For example, let's say the eclectic is made up of three rounds. In the first round, the golfer scores a 6 on hole No. 1; in Round 2, he scores a 7 on hole No. 1; in Round 3, he scores a 4 on hole No. 1. The lowest of those three scores on the first hole is a 4, so that is the golfer's eclectic score. So the golfer compares his scores on each hole in every round of the eclectic, selects the lowest per-hole score, and that is his eclectic scorecard.
